Len Thorell has been promoted to assistant general manager, technical, and Earl Walker is promoted to assistant general manager, operations, at Todd Pacific Shipyards Corporation's Los Angeles Division.
Mr. Thorell will have management responsibility for the following disciplines: engineering, quality assurance/R&M, material control, purchasing, warehousing, new construction and repair estimating, and welding engineering. Mr. Walker will assume broad overall responsibilities in the operations area of the division, including expanded production, planning and scheduling, plant maintenance, production department training program, drydocks, and tests and trials.
