Broughton Offshore Limited III applied for a Title XI guarantee to help finance two 100-foot jackup drilling barges to be built by Bethlehem Steel at Sparrows Point, Md., for Gulf of Mexico operation.
Broughton Offshore Limited III, Houston, Texas, recently applied for a Title XI guarantee to aid in financing the construction of two 100-foot jackup drilling barges. The vessels are to operate in the Gulf of Mexico.
If approved, the Title XI guarantee would cover $47,650,000 or nearly 87½ percent of the estimated actual cost of $64,360,000. Bethlehem Steel Corp., Sparrows Point, Md., is the proposed builder. Deliveries are scheduled for August and September 1982.
