   Tacoma Boatbuilding has delivered the 123-foot crabber/trawler Birgit-N for Bering Sea crab fishing, featuring a four-tank arrangement, 60-ton York refrigeration plant and two Northern Line cranes including a level-luffing design.

   Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding has delivered the 76-foot tug Jekyll Isle to Jekyll Towing and Marine Services Corporation, a Kort-nozzle equipped boat with 17 1/2-ton bollard pull, extensive deck gear and USCG/ABS unrestricted ocean service certification.

   Moss Rosenberg Verft has delivered the 24,000-cubic-meter LPG/chemical tanker Hektor to A/S Nordsjogas of Stavanger, a 20,000-dwt ship with three prismatic cargo tanks and a 14,400-bhp Horton/Sulzer diesel.

   Caterpillar has announced a direct-injection version of its 3412 marine diesel offering 8-10 percent better fuel efficiency, and an improved turbocharged 3208 T replacing the current 3208.
