James C. Thrane, the man responsible for Santa Fe Engineering Services Company's new equipment construction, has been promoted twice recently. In December 1980 he was named vice president of construction; two months later, he was promoted to vice president of capital projects. He was succeeded as manager of construction and repair by Dennis Yenzer. Mr. Thrane joined Santa Fe in 1973 as a construction superintendent. Prior to that he was general manager of PACECO's Gulfport, Miss., manufacturing plant.
