Duraline, of Islip, N.Y., a division of J.B. Nottingham Co., Inc., has introduced two new units on the market: model V500A portable ventilation blower and model V20KW portable heater attachment.
Duraline's V500A blower has two unique features: all-aluminum construction and a low weight of 48 pounds. It is the only unit of its kind with a rated capacity of 700 cfm. This unit includes a 1.5-hp, 230/460-volt, 3-phase, dust-tight motor and starter, internally wired. It's light enough to be hand-carried, well suited for ventilating hard-to-reach locations.
Duraline's V20KW heater, designed specifically for use with the V500A blower, is also lightweight (58 pounds) and easily hand-carried. Combined, the two units are ideal for drying out tanks and compartments. Each unit has its own switch for overload protection, and they need only be field connected. Overall dimensions are 28 inches long by 16 inches wide by 24 inches high.
